Registration of foreign citizens arriving to Kazakhstan
FYI. According to the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of January 28, 2000, foreign citizens arriving to Kazakhstan must register with the local immigration authorities within 5 days upon crossing the border. Registration is done upon provision of personal identification documents for the period not exceeding the period of validity of the national passport. Citizens of the countries that have visa-free agreements with the Republic of Kazakhstan, are registered for the period of 90 days, which can be later prolonged for the same period.
